A manufacturing factory, offices, and a warehouse in Lancashire underwent a complete refurbishment. The company wanted to upgrade their heating system to a modern, reliable, and efficient wood chip boiler system that would qualify for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) program.

SOLUTION:

The solution provided by Renewable Energy Solutions was a centralised wood chip boiler heating system installed in a purpose-built extension with a blown wood chip delivery system. The system comprises of seven heating zones, each of which can be individually controlled to improve system efficiency.

The wood chip boiler provides heat to all building areas using full ETA controls and integrating the MeinETA function, allowing the user and installer to access the boiler via the internet.

The new heating system has been a great success for the manufacturing facility. The system is more reliable and efficient than the previous one, and the company is now eligible for the RHI program. The individual control of each heating zone has helped to improve system efficiency, and the MeinETA function provides easy access to the boiler for monitoring and troubleshooting.
