THE CPD & INNSOL TRAINING PARTNERSHIP
Through the Innasol training academy, we work closely with the CPD. The CPD is a certification scheme and stands for ‘continuing professional development’. The scheme represents a commitment to lifelong learning: regardless of sector or discipline. It helps companies to formalise expertise and to give structure to learning.
So why does Innasol have a relationship with the CPD when we have our own development structure through the Innasol Customer Excellence Programme? It’s a very good question. Simply put, because not all industry professionals require the same level of knowledge needed to advise customers and install renewable heating technologies. Although a great many do, not all of the delegates who pass through our doors must attend training sessions to be able to do their daily job.
These individuals are mostly architects and construction professionals who attend our courses to learn more about renewable heating. As well as how they can introduce these technologies it into their own projects and industries. We want to make sure that those professionals, who are taking the time to introduce renewable heat into the supply chain and raise awareness of the technology, are recognised for this.
It might be that a building planner attends our Awareness of Renewable Technologies course so that he is able to consider all the potential green energy options on the market when he is beginning a new project. Or perhaps an architect, once he has a better idea of biomass, will add a space for heat pumps to his sketches of a new housing development.
Our partnership with the CPD is vital to spreading the message of renewable heating within diverse industries. We look forward to welcoming more of its professionals through our doors over the coming years.
