Innasol NBA finalist for the third year running
Innasol, the UK’s leading renewable heating business, has been shortlisted for ‘The Inflexion International Growth Business of the Year’ at the 2015 National Business awards.
The award recognises the British businesses which have achieved the highest and most sustainable levels of international growth. Celebrating all aspects of growth, the award looks at the company’s sales, profit, geographical expansion, and acquisition.
Innasol has achieved phenomenal financial growth since it was created by Silvio Spiess in 2010, and is now the market leading biomass business. To date, through its partner network, the company has installed more than 350MW of the 1.7GW of renewable heating installed under the Government’s Renewable Heat Incentive scheme. The business now has 50 employees across three offices in the UK and Europe.

Silvio Spiess, Innasol CEO said, “To be nominated for a third year running is something we are all very proud of. We have worked hard to grow our business and increase our offering, something that we are proud to have achieved.”
He added, “Renewable heating is still in its infancy and we must continue to work hard to raise awareness of renewable heating as well as ensure that we increase the number of people who have access to it.”
Tom Broughton, Programme Director of the National Business Awards said: “The quality and range of this year’s entries exceed even those of last year, which is no mean feat. The draw of being involved with the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards has seen companies from all kinds of industries submit applications, which have been narrowed down using our thorough and comprehensive scoring system. We are now looking forward to the next step in the judging process and meeting some of the finalists face-to-face.”
The winner will be revealed at the National Business Awards gala dinner on 10th November at Park Lane’s Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Innasol are up against a great mix of other high growth companies and would like to wish luck to them all!
