Nigel Lingwood joins Innasol Group as Non-Executive Chair

Nigel Lingwood joins to support Innasol’s ambitious plans and further strengthen the board as the company looks ahead to a period of growth and expansion in the renewable energy sector.

Innasol Group has announced that highly regarded and experienced Company Chair and Board Director Nigel Lingwood has joined the business as Non-Executive Chair to support the ongoing development of the Innasol Group businesses and to advise and support the Board with their ambitious growth plans in the Renewable energy sector.

The Innasol portfolio includes the sole distribution rights for ETA biomass boilers (5000+ installations across the UK), wood pellet supplier Y-Pellets, Innasol Solar PV, a rapidly growing commercial solar installation business and biomass boiler efficiency and diagnostics tool IDRIS. Innasol works closely with its 150+ Partners to uniquely leverage renewable heating and power opportunities nationally.

In addition to his role with Innasol, Nigel is also chair of Volution Group PLC, a leading supplier of ventilation products with primary markets in the UK, Europe, and Australasia, and is also Senior Independent Director at Dialight PLC, a global leader in industrial LED lighting technology and solutions.

In his executive roles, Nigel has overseen significant business growth, both organic and acquisition-driven as Group Finance Director of Diploma PLC until his retirement at 30 September 2020, and will bring this considerable experience to guide and support the Innasol board through a period of rapid development.
