Unlike gas boilers with more standardised service times, servicing a biomass boiler depends on its size. For smaller domestic systems, a service can be completed relatively quickly. Taking around half a day (roughly 4 hours).
Medium-sized boilers, ranging from 50kW to 250kW, typically require a full day, or approximately 8 hours, to ensure a comprehensive service. Servicing larger commercial boilers, those between 500kW and 1MW, can be a more extensive process, potentially taking up to 2 days due to their increased complexity.
It’s important to remember that these are estimated timeframes. The actual service time for your biomass boiler may vary depending on its specific condition and any unforeseen issues encountered during the service.
