April 30, 2024 Switching to Biomass Heating
Biomass Heating for your hotel, Spa & Leisure Centre
As a hotel, spa or leisure centre you will be aware of the high cost of heating your facilities on a regular basis. If you are based in an out-of-town location, you will most likely be using an oil boiler solution for your heating needs. Here we explain what biomass is and how it can benefit your hotel, spa or leisure centre.
ALTERNATIVE HEATING SOLUTIONS
As the world becomes more ecologically and environmentally aware the use of fossil fuels has never been more in question or less ethically popular.
As a business which relies on customer opinion to remain profitable you could hugely benefit from being able to demonstrate your improved environmentalism and the use of renewables.
WHAT IS BIOMASS?
In real terms, the only existing and viable alternative to oil is biomass. It is the only heating solution that can provide the same energy output, consistency, and reliability of oil.
Even better, it is a renewable energy source.
Biomass burns wood chips or pellets made from industrial wood wase or harvested from sustainably managed forests. These wood pellets are specially manufactured in a process of drying and compression that makes them ideal fuel. Burning at a consistent rate and releasing a reliable and predictable amount of energy they allow a good output to be sustained.
Coming from renewable sources the biomass fuel allows your business to claim honestly and openly to be doing your part for the environment.
ARRANGING YOUR BIOMASS INSTALLATION
If your hotel, spa or leisure centre is interested in a biomass heating solution then the process is relatively simple.
The first step is for one of our highly experienced and qualified engineers to come out to your site to conduct a survey. In this survey they will look at your present heating system and infrastructure, assess your heating needs throughout the year and review your sites suitability for a biomass installation.
After which a quote will be supplied for the recommended boiler size and installation.
It really is that easy.
